SDI Clutch alignment tool rental

$

This is a shot in the dark, but does anyone want to rent me there SDI alignment tool for a 2017 xp1k? I am getting ready to install my rzrworks gear reduction and fix a tranny leak in the next week or so. I hate to buy the tool for hopefully 1 use. I’m going with the 47/26/12 reduction with all new Sandcraft bearings. Happy to help you recover some of your cost of buying the tool.

Thanks

HMF - Ultra Quiet Twin Loop Exhaust - RZP XP 1K

With the increased demand of UTVs in the last 10 years, a new problem developed that quickly needed a solution. After spending a lengthy period of time with our research and development team, our Dual Slip On system for the Polaris RZR XP 1000 was about to get a makeover.

We had to figure out a way to bring down the volume of the exhaust without compromising power, thus developing our Utltra Quiet Twin Loop System.

Power In The Loop

The Twin-Loop Slip-On System connects (2) Titan-QS silencers in series, creating more capacity to handle sound pulses. The looped system traps the exhaust sounds, absorbs them, and allows the exhaust to run quieter than the Polaris RZR XP® 1000 stock muffler.

Specifically Designed for the Polaris RZR XP 1000

Starting at $949.95, the Titan Twin-Loop Slip-On Exhaust System fits the Polaris RZR XP® 1000 and Polaris RZR XP® 4 1000 models, with possibly more to come. Although we recommend a DynoJet® Power Vision Programmer, fuel tuning is not required with this system.

American Made Stainless Steel

The Ultra Quiet Slip-On system is available in either Blackout (Cerakote®) or Brushed Stainless Steel, so you can get exactly the style and durability you're looking for on your Polaris RZR XP® 1000

Nature Approved

With the peace of mind of a quieter exhaust, all of our furry little friends can still do their business, while you go handle yours.

Hello all I was wondering if there is an aftermarket a arm kit with a front sway bar for a non turbo 2014 rzr 1000 xp? I ride high speed flat trails and the breaking coming into corners causes my car to dive to one side or the other.

I just purchased a 2014 RZR XP1K with traditional Pro Armor doors. However, the owner did not include the door latch assemblies and sold the original doors. Where can I get bolt on door latches to fit theses doors? See the attached photo for an example I found online

High clearance a arms = positive camber?

$

Hello, I just bought my first RZR.
A 2014 XP1000.
One of the lower A-Arms was slightly bent so I decided to install new Tusk high clearance A-Arms.
Just finished installing them and I'm now noticing some positive camber on my front wheels?
Is this normal?
I actually want some negative camber because I like to go fast.
How can I fix this?
Thanks!

Does anyone know someone who makes them?

Timing chain skipping teeth while trying to install cam gear bolts

$

Question on my 2014 RZR 1000 XP: After a complete rebuild I am trying to set the timing. I get the flywheel to TDC and align the intake and exhaust marks correctly as described in the manual. However, when I rotate the crank CCW to install the second cam gear bolts the timing chain becomes loose and skips teeth. I have tried with and without the chain tensioner and with and without the top chain guide. I also have tried filling the tensioner with oil to build pressure but it quickly loses pressure. With the tensioner and guide in place I can hold the chain on the gears but it appears to skip on the crank gear when rotated.

Has anyone experienced this and can possibly provide some solutions?

I have ordered a manual chain tensioner and a top cam chain guide for a newer RZR engine that wraps around the top of the gears.

Thanks in advance!

P.s. I have searched and searched for this answer and have come up short.

Squealing noise

Bought a ‘17 XP 1000 a few weeks ago with 200 miles and had it out 3 times now. New to the SXS hobby so everything thing is new to me. Had a squealing noise that comes from the primary clutch area the best that I can tell. Originally thought it was a belt slipping as that’s what it sounds like, so I replaced it with a HW belt and did the pucks to roller conversion at same time. Checked primary clutch out and it appears fine. The rollers and cams are good and all moves freely. Sheaves and all in new condition still. Back to the trails yesterday break the belt in and to see if original belt was the cause of the squeal. Still there, if not a little louder.
It does it in PRNLH. So I’ve eliminated a belt, secondary and tranny issue because belt isn’t spinning. It is faint at idle, and gets louder with rpm. Will note, when we first took off on the ride yesterday, it was quiet so I thought it was the old belt. But 5 min later, it came back. Possibly a heat related issue?
At this point I don’t know if it’s normal or what. Can’t think of what would cause a squeal at the motor or primary full time. Did a fluid change a couple weeks ago and all looked good

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

suspension travel, Alignment?

Maybe this should be in suspension but there seems to be more activity here. Buddy of mine has a 16 1000 xp. This is not the only 1000XP in the group so we have plenty of other machines to compare it to, to verify somethings wrong. Whats going on is this machine has so much movement in the suspension while hard acceleration that it throws the alignment so far out to the point that it makes it almost impossible to steer. If your just cruising where the machine is lever the alignment is perfect. as well as pulling it in the garage and parking it, everything is straight and matches just what all the other rzr stance is. But when you mash in the back squats so much that the front end just floats.. Bone stock machine power wise. Does have super atv arms and steering rack. do we have a blown shock issue or something else??

A few opinions on suspension mods plz

I recently purchased a 2014 rzr 1000xp. It’s almost setup perfectly. It has quite a few add ons already. My question is I would like to go with some skinnies (33’s/34’s) in the future. The suspension is currently stock and I am running 29.5 terms with 14in rims. I’d rather not do the bracket lift and lose ride comfort. I’ve heard about a-arms that will raise 2in and maybe turning the shocks up just a little bit for clearance. Not to brag but money isn’t really a factor here. I just don’t want to make a mistake and waste my money. I appreciate any input you guys can give. Thanks

Painting Springs??

Has anyone pulled the stock springs off and paint them?? If so what worked for you? I’m going to strip the red off and just want to go with black. I can send them in and have them powdercoated, but figured I’d ask if regular spray paint is holding up to save a couple bucks?
